Step 1. Describe your business
Native Commerce starts with a short description. Say what you sell, where and to whom:
Too vague: “I sell clothes.”
Much better: “Linen summer dresses for women in Lisbon, priced 60–120 euros, delivered within the city.”
Native Commerce then asks a few follow-up questions about your business. Answer them, because they shape the first draft. Building the first draft takes a few minutes.
Step 2. Replace the samples with your products
Your new Native AI Suite store comes with sample products, categories and images so you can see how it will look with real content. They’re there to show the layout, not to be sold.
Open the catalog and go product by product: real names, prices, stock and photos. Delete the samples you don’t sell, and keep, rename or remove categories to match your range. Read every description too. AI-written copy sounds confident, which makes the wrong size or material easy to miss. If you wouldn’t say it to a customer, take it out.
Step 3. Make the design yours
In Native AI Suite, there are two ways to change how your store looks, and you can mix them:
Edit it yourself. Pick a section on the page and change its text, images, layout or colours.
Ask the AI chat in Native Commerce. Describe the change in plain words, for example “Use a white and gold colour theme” or “Add a banner about our weekend sale.” Check the result after each request.
Step 4. Set up payments
Set up payments before launch so customers can pay at checkout. If you plan to offer delivery, pickup or cash on delivery, set those up at this stage too.
Step 5. Test, then publish
Place a test order the way a customer would and check what arrives on your side. When everything works, publish the store and open it at its public address to see exactly what customers will see.
