What should I check first after AI builds my store?
Native AI Suite gives you a ready-made store to work from, with pages, products and text already in place. What it can’t know is the detail only you have: your real prices, your policies, what you actually promise customers. So the first thing to check is everything that depends on that knowledge. Then follow one real product from the homepage to the order that reaches you. Get the facts right first and leave the design for later.
The checks at a glance
Check | Why it’s worth a look | What to do |
|---|---|---|
Promises | Only you know what you can deliver | Keep the promises you can keep |
Reviews and badges | They should come from real customers and real certificates | Keep only what you can back up |
Contact details and “About us” | This is where customers decide to trust you | Add your real details and story |
Products | Sample products show the layout, not your range | Replace them with your own |
Images | Customers expect to receive what they see | Use photos of your actual products |
Store policies | They should match how your team works | Adjust delivery and returns text |
Links and sections | Everything should lead somewhere | Fill or remove empty parts |
Test order | It shows the store works end to end | Place one and check your side |
1. Promises
A good store tells customers what they can count on: fast delivery, easy returns, handmade quality. Your store may already include wording like this. Read the homepage, product pages and banners and keep every promise your business can keep, in your own words. Change or remove the rest.
2. Reviews, ratings and badges
Social proof helps people buy from a new store, so it’s worth getting right. If your store shows ratings, customer quotes or badges like “certified organic”, make sure each one comes from a real customer or a real certificate. Until your first reviews come in, it’s fine to leave this section out.
3. Contact details and “About us”
This is often the page people open before buying from a store they don’t know. Add your real address, phone number and email, and a few sentences about who you are and why you started. Specific, honest details build more trust than polished general text.
4. Products
Native AI Suite fills your store with sample products so you can see how your catalog will look. Replace them with your own range and check each product against your records:
name and description;
price, and the currency it’s shown in;
what the customer gets for that price: one item or a pack;
size, material and other specs.
Since Native AI Suite generates the store from one description, the same detail often appears across several products. When you correct something in one, check the others too.
5. Images
Your own photos are what turn a nice-looking store into your store. Customers expect to receive what they see, so replace sample images with photos of your actual products, starting with the ones you’ll launch with.
6. Store policies
If your store has sections about delivery, returns or payment, read them as a customer would and adjust them to match how your team actually works: your return window, the areas you deliver to, how payment happens.
7. Links and sections
Click every button and menu item. Make sure each one leads to the right place, and that every section and category has something in it. Fill what you need and remove what you don’t.
8. One test order, start to finish
Pick a real product, add it to the basket, change the quantity and go through checkout. Check that the total is right and that checkout shows the payment and delivery options you offer. Then open the order on your side and make sure your team has everything it needs to fulfil it.
Making the changes
In Native AI Suite, you can edit text, images and layout yourself in the editor, or ask the AI chat in Native Commerce in plain words, for example “Replace the About us text with this: …” or “Remove the reviews section for now.” Check each change as you go.
What can wait
Colours, fonts, image crops and section order. They matter, but your prices, promises and policies matter more. When those are right, move on to the rest of your pre-launch checks: payments, delivery options and how the store works on a phone.
