About the Role
We're expanding our engineering team and looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to help evolve our SaaS e-commerce platform.
Our primary backend stack is Node.js. Experience with Go is a strong advantage, particularly if you're interested in platform architecture, complex business processes, and technical leadership.
You'll work on high-impact backend systems, integrations, and transactional workflows while helping shape scalable solutions for modern e-commerce.
What You'll Do
Build and improve backend services using Node.js
Design scalable APIs and system integrations
Work with GraphQL, REST, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
Develop transactional flows across the platform
Improve performance, reliability, and observability
Contribute to platform architecture and product decisions
Use AI tools throughout the development lifecycle
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams
Engineers with Go experience may also contribute to:
PIM strategy and implementation
OMS and WMS improvements
Operational platform tooling
Client-facing implementation projects

Required Skills
Strong experience with Node.js
Senior-level engineering experience
Architecture and system design knowledge
Experience building scalable backend systems
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Product mindset and ownership
Daily use of AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, LLM workflows)
Nice to Have
Experience with Go
E-commerce or marketplace platforms
High-load or transactional systems
OMS, WMS, PIM, checkout or order management
Tech Lead or Team Lead experience
